Hellooooo Friday! Even though we’re working this weekend, we are actually looking forward to all of these events. We love what we do, and who we host. Check out what’s going on at Fairplex this weekend:

Asian American Expo Live Entertainment

Asian American Expo (Jan 14 & 15): One of our biggest events this month, the Asian American Expo is all things cultural: food, dance, art and entertainment. This year the expo features several events like Anime Impulse, where guests can cosplay, attend panels, browse artist alleys and check out a car show. The Silk Show Sample Sale features a number of great brands selling wares at 50-80% off retail price, as well as a sneaker show. Other activities include an eating contest, tons of food and shopping vendors, and live entertainment celebrating a variety of Asian cultures. Admission is $11 per person. Parking is $11 at Gate 9 (Blue Gate). For more information visit us at fairplex.com.

Palates & Palettes – Monet (Jan 14): Our wine & paint series, Palates & Palettes returns to the Millard Sheets Art Center this Saturday night. Journey to the world of Claude Monet as you learn to paint one of his masterpieces from an art instructor, while enjoying wine & food pairings inspired from his homeland of France. All supplies (including wine & food!) are provided. Please RSVP here.

Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show (Jan 15): The Pomona Swap Meet returns to Fairplex bright and early Sunday morning. More than 30,000 car parts, accessories, automobilia and vintage rides will span 15 miles of our campus. It’s the perfect place to mingle with the auto community, shop parts and check out rides. RailGiants Train Museum Free Admission (Jan 14 & 15): Last but not least, the on-site RailGiants Train Museum is hosting their free monthly museum days this weekend.
